Ah putting aside mih suspicions of him dat I had since de time he was ah High Court judge one day and de next day he resign and running fuh political office. Dat move alone, from one of de supposedly independent branches of government tuh de next, tainted de independence of all three fuh me. Ah pushing dem suspicions aside.

Ah next set of suspicions ah pushing aside. He came out and suggested loudly dat Atiba Duncan, de fella shot dead by police in Champs Fleurs was ah homicide victim. He say more buh dat dey was de juicy part. When he get pong fuh dat he put orn he judicial hat and he say ‘homicide’ eh mean murder so he wasn’t saying de police murder anybody. While ah know what he saying he was inflaming passions fires den seeking tuh back away.

I wasn’t following he when he was ah High Court judge so I eh have no personal knowledge of the one ting so many people raise dey eyebrow about. De Brad Boyce case. All I know is what I just read. One man kill ah next man at ah club, geh charged wid murder, it geh reduced tuh manslaughter. Justice Volney questioned de pathologist credentials and tell de jury tuh find de accused not guilty.  Dat all add tuh he ‘colorfulness’ although I would tink de people wid raised eyebrow have udder words tuh describe Volney. Tuh dem wid everything he do after dat dey was yelling, ‘See?’ ‘See!’

I cyar yell. Instead ah wondering what de hell de Ministry of Justice doing since Kamla kill Mannin’ and appoint he de minister. Wid all dem suspicions ah looking elsewhere fuh ah pen pal. Still, ah asking again.

I read plenty of de blogs in Triniland newspapers since Section 34. Hear nah,  Trinis does write plenty shit is one ting dat does keep getting confirmed. have some interesting tings tuh say. Ah see as many opinions on dis as it had bloggers.

Ah have ah theory when it comes tuh tings dat happen and people commenting.  When people opinions doh show no consensus, I tink de truth is usually de least controversial of all de opinions. Sometimes smoke is just smoke and not ah screen. Normally is de people who involved in de ting dat causing all de ruckus who does put out dat ‘truth’ dat doh geh believed. All dem udder theories tuh me does tell more about how we does think. Once I did calm dong from mih Trini reaction when ah hear Kamla make she announcement and fire Volney, ah decide tuh look at it as objectively as ah could. Look at de bigger picture dis all fighting into. See what de forest telling mih about de trees I guess.

I listen tuh he de udder day paint dis picture of de school system dat had mih delighted dat all was finally well. He had mih when he tork about all de school repairs dey do tuh de hundreds of school and ting. Ah saying, ‘Yes! Ah ministry wukking hard and getting great results’.

Den de parents of ah primary school near and dear tuh mih heart, stage ah protest. Is 60 plus lil chirren tuh one teacher in de school oui! De parents complain dat de ministry take out like 5 teachers and eh replace dem. So, could, not even ‘would’, could de insightful, caring and loving fool people like I geh fool? I eh see how de answer could be ‘yes’ as de man in charge eh tink parents wouldn’t realize is ah week into de school term and de teacher eh reach dey chirren name yet in roll call so many in de class?
